Bluetooth inside
- iPod classic, discontinued in 2014, did not include Bluetooth connectivity. However, thanks to the dedicated work of the modding community, bluetooth transmitters have been able to be connected to the iPod's internal headphone output, allowing for wireless audio with iPod classic
- These iPods are refurbished, so alongside the bluetooth module, they feature brand new exterior panels, a new and expanded capacity battery, and flash storage to improve load times and battery life even further

All-month battery life
- The original iPod classic utilised a 750mAh lithium-ion battery, which was rated to last for 30 hours of audio playback, and weeks on standby. With energy-efficient flash storage and larger batteries up to 3000mAh*, iPod classic can last for over 100 hours of playback. Using Bluetooth
These iPods' Bluetooth functionality is hardware-based. Controlling the module is done via a button embedded under the hold switch. Most Bluetooth recievers are compatabile, however no guarantee of connectivity can be made. The module offers Bluetooth 5.0 and aptX codec streaming. Range is improved thanks to the custom antenna panel in the rear casing, however since iPod classic was not designed to offer wireless connectivity, usable range may be lower than anticipated.

Capacity Guide
iPod classic was originally released in capacities up to 160GB. Apple designed iPod classic with this in mind, so much larger capacities must be considered against performance and functionality. When running Apple System Software, iPod classic can support up to approximately 40,000 tracks. You can use the table below as a guide, but bear in mind actual track limits will vary depending on library metadata, file type and compression.

*2000 and 3000mAh rated batteries commonly have lower functional capacities. These battery units are sold and advertised with their rated capacity however testing and comparisons show that their functional capacity is around 1800mAh.
